Circa 2019, Fiddle Melon began as a project in design school. I set out to create a plastic-free toy collection that inspires kids to explore logic next to imagination during free play.

I gave my collection a name as ambiguous as the instructions:
Fiddle: to play, create, tinker - also an instrument sometimes a tool.
Melon: noggin, brain, imagination - also a fruit sometimes a fuel.
