ReClaim Madison Upcycle Auction, Lumey No. 002

Role We thrifted the placemats for Reclaim Madison’s 2022 Upcycled Art Auction and dreamed up our design (based on my 2018 project - Lumey, an upcycled lamp). The final product is made with scrapped baltic birch plywood, scrapped HDPE, thrifted vinyl placemats, retired lamp parts, LED bulb + stainless steel hardware.
Reclaim Madison’s design challenge to the community:
Thrift at least one item found in the Reclaim Madison County thrift store. Create a masterpiece to be auctioned off in benefit to Madison County Community Housing Coalition.
