TrailFlyer Outdoor Game
Brand ENO
Role Lead Product Designer, Ideation, Production Lead, Color Designer, Director of Studio Photography, Market Research
U.S. Patent Pending Product
I was tasked to ideate and design ENO’s first game.
Using foundational brand design language and material palettes along with the development of new recycled materials I designed a product inspired by a fan-favorite game and appealing to ENO’s existing community.
This product must have:
Cohesive story, a storyline authentic to the brand’s mission, brand language, and the outdoor industry
Innovation, create a new product experience unique to ENO
It’d be nice to have:
Portability, able to use at home or pack up for on-the-go
Consistency, product features and materials familiar to both new and existing hammockers or ENO’s following as a whole
This product would be perfect if it also:
Utilized 100% recycled materials
Utilized bluesign approved materials
Sourcing recycled content was an important avenue to explore for this project. In addition to material research, this development of course required rigorous testing both indoors and out to ensure the recycled content of TrailFlyer’s discs was guaranteed toss-able by all ages (13 and up), bounce-ible (for trick shots) but not too bouncy, and compatible with the story line and feature of this product.
The final result is a product that’s portable, packable, and inspires quality time spent outside with friends and family of many ages.
